I looked at it today 439 pounds then whilst looking for a review seen a link from last year when it was 350 reduced to 250, is this the norm for hein gericke?

Yeah, I noticed that. I bought the jacket in May last year when it was £350 and got some money off as I bought it together with the trousers.

The price hike is probably just to allow them to offer their regular discount deals.

Good jacket though. It’s kept me warm and dry for the last year and survived daily use over 14,000 miles.

Aye sterling jacket like pretty much all of HG's goretex numbers, the pricing is indeed getting a bit silly though, RRP on my tricky II was like £220 Neutral

I wouldn't read too much into it, HG prices go up and down faster than a tart's knickers.

yes its perfectly normal

they have to shift last years stock to make room for this years stock that they have already ordered, so they sell it cheap to make room

Is probably your answer.

Wonder if trading standards would be interested in this. A bunch of super markets got done for this sort of thing, inflating their prices prior to a 'special offer'.

And the price is quite clearly labelled £349.99 even in their deal.
