in a year when my girlfriend goes to uni i want a way to go see her, i just done my cbt and im just 18, so in a year i plan to get something like a 400cc zxr, or cbr on a full licence (restricted to 33bhp obviously cos of age) would those bikes be good for getting long distances, and also would long distances be fine even if the bikes restricted?

would they be stupid bikes to get on when im used to a 125?

thanks!

Nope, I think most people would say they are about right, unless you can afford to buy/insure a 600 Smile

Depends what you mean long distance, i did a few 300 mile(one way) trips on my old CBR6 and my neck gave me some real grief Sad, and my back wasn't great. Also the weight on your arms is allot to take for sustained amounts of time.

Something more sitting would be better but of the sports bike the cbr is the most comfortable i thought
