derestrict piaggio zip 125 4T

hey guys i have looked around and around the internet on how to derestrict a piaggio zip 125 4T but all of them have been about 50cc's i have already took out the variator washer but that made no difference still will only do about 55mph and if the wind is hitting me strait on it blows me back to about 40mph is there more restrictors in the scooter ?? any ideas guys

It's a 4 stroke scooter, you're not going to get much out of it.
Have you looked for a restrictor washer in the exhaust? I'm sure there won't be one as it is 4T but it's worth a look.

You're kinda stuck with that speed unfortunately

wouldnt of think the 125 are restricted. I'm surprised you found a washer in the variator.

the cdi is sometime electronically limited and is de-restriction is done by cutting into it at a certain point but then again its for the 4t 50
