There's now an automatic rating removal function in the karma system. If somebody gives you too many repeat ratings they're nixed. Sorry RogerBorg, you agreed with me too many times apparently.

So ... What happens if you have a little fan club thing going about someone whose posts you only ever rate as cool or funny because they consistently make you laugh? (I can think of several people who I do this to, cos even if I think they are plonkers and/or never agree with what they have to say, I often rate things they post as cool or funny)

There is a script that runs overnight to do some checks on ratings that can't be done in real time.

It's been doing this for years, I've just forgotten to adjust the values it works with since upping the daily rating-giving limit. Oops!
