I'm pretty certain it's own brand stuff from Go Outdoors. The similarity in the name with North Face is where it ends pretty much. It's a bit of cheeky marketing all the same. Anything they sell using 'EVent' waterproof fabric will be half decent at least. EVent is a separate company that allow manufacturers to construct gear using their fabric (much in the same way that Gore-Tex do, but Gore tend to be the best at quality checks i.e very very strict).

So, Go Outdoors sell stuff which they make themselves as well as other brands, they just decide to call their own stuff North Ridge instead.

Some of this North Ridge gear is made with fabric they have brought from EVent which should in theory have passed a few more quality control checks.

Hope that's cleared it up a bit Covdude?

Fuck I've just burnt my dinner in the oven writing that!

I had to choke down a burnt Cornish pasty, and it was all your fault.

Better? Smile

As long as the pasty was NOT from Cornwall, then that's a deal. Smile

Funny you should say that, it actually was.

Genuinely.

Me and my flat mate had a box delivered from a bakery in Cornwall via courier. (It's a long story).
