Ok, Im in the crapper now!

My bikes just gone into the garage to be prodded and poked by mechanics and my cars got a puncture. Nobodys open and i need to be in Uni for 9am tomorrow or i pretty much fail.

Im in Whalley near Clitheroe which is in Lancashire. Blackburns the easiest nearest town to pin to it. I need to get to Preston before 9am or i might as well play on the motorway.

I have a full car license and CBT at 18 years old. So can anyone help me out?!

Cheers, Dup

Theres this big double decker thing, with a nice driver that will take you places for a pound or two.

I think, it's called a bus, but don't quote me on that...

I live 25 miles away from Preston. A mile away from nearest train/bus.

The bus isn't direct and Id not get there on time and fail.

The train isn't direct and if i miss the second i get there an hour later. The second train departs as the first arrives...

So really i live in one shitty area. Been the story of my life not being to go anywhere. Id be happy to cycle if it hadn't have been stolen.

But thanks for your lovely sarcasm.

Looks like you'll going to the job centre then! Wink Don't you have any uni friends that can pick you up?

Go to a uni friends house tonight and spend the night there, and get a lift with them. Alternatively stay with a friend or family member who lives near a bus stop.

And how do you suppose i get to their house? They all live in Preston and don't own transport. I have a couple options but very un-likely.

A taxi here would cost me in the region of about £40. I just called. Thats 8 weeks worth of petrol!

This would happen to me. The guy whos fiancé tells him shes a lesbian after 2 years. The guy who gets sued for getting knocked off his bike... I could go on, just stupid.

Ah well... Never mind. Looks like a long walk tonight.

8 weeks of petrol for £40? That'd barely last me a weekend Laughing

Anyway, we don't mean to be sarcasticly out of order, just sarcastic, not being funny but you've only been on the forum for about a week or so (?) and no one will want to lend someone they don't know a vehicle.

Your only option really then is a taxi or a lift from someone.

IT may cost you £40 but if it means passing uni exams then surely £40 is worth it, if £40 isn't worth passing your exams then just don't bother as it can't mean that much to you.

So walk the mile to the train, leaving plenty of time to catch the first one. Rolling Eyes

Hitch hiking?

Check out the local commuters this evening, and see who is heading into Preston (or where ever) tomorrow, there must be someone nearby who you can walk to/get a taxi to who can take you the rest of the way.

I know how it is to live away from any transport links, I had to rely on parents and friends to get me from place to place.
Best of luck. Thumbs Up

But then the first one will more than likely overlap the first one, so i get off it and miss the second, fail. I want to avoid sitting in the train station like that.

I think i've found someone who'll lend me thier wheel for the golf anyway.

Im not overly arsed now. Sick of failing everything.

Time to get into the real world. Screw it.

That was just what I was thinking Kev! Wink

Surely there is a spare wheel on/in the car that you can use. If ou turn around and say to me that you're one of the people who doesn't know how to change a wheel then you want you're arse kicking! Laughing
