I think it was an old wives tale that starting a motor with a spud down the exhaust would blow the valves or something.

Bits of banana in your can won't bother the motor, but you'll probably get a weird smell (fritters?) for a while.

haha, i understand something like a banana would be obliterated before a pressure build up got too high anyway, but why must jealous people fuck with others property!

Dont worry about it, its not going to harm the bike, just take it the way it was intended and laugh it off. I had condoms put all over my old bike, made a right bang when the exhaust blew it up! one of the weird effects was that the lubricant made pieces of rubber fall off the 40 year old grips!

Harry.

I remember back in the seventies, god I'm old, that one of the gang had a load of crab apples pushed into the exhaust of his fizzie, used to smell like toffee apples when you follewed him but no harm done

Pour a can of anchovies into the cabin filter of his car and wait for a hot day.

+1 with Donny. I'd be slotting some finely cut slivers of kipper and haddock into the grille behind the bonnet near the windscreen...and running a line of superglue along his wiper blades Laughing
