It's a Friday, it's £99 and it's with TrackTimePromotions (so a few of us have a £50 credit in hand)... who's with me? Very Happy

As the trailer's owned by me, G and Luke, we have first dibs. After that it's all down to persuasion, threats and bribery.

DukeRed - trackdays aren't for racing, they're for pushing your bike on the safety of a circuit and generally having a chance to try and ride the cock off it without watching for Police.

Ah right, sounds cool. Ive heard of these 1st track day days, are they any good or just an instructor with a bunch of nodding newbies?

Dont mean to hijack post.

I have no experience of them I'm afraid.

Most trackdays (the above included) have instructors on hand who will take you out and give you some pointers - guess it depends if you're the kind of person who likes instruction or who likes to learn by doing and watching others. And how seriously you want to take it all - do you care if you're taking the exact right line and braking at the exact right point or just want to have fun. I fall into the latter category - just enjoy riding and getting faster than I was in the previous session.

I'm tempted to say the least but not 100% sure whether I can afford it, I think I'd be better off buying a ground anchor and stuff at the moment, third party only and all. Sad

2 Days before my birthday \o/ w00t

If I don't sell my car and get a new bike (that I definately won't be using on the track) then i'll be there. May have to convince a mate to come along in his van Wink

If I can ride by then, get my bike there and get a ticket at the last minute, I'll definitely be along. So a few big 'ifs', but where there's a will there's a way and I will be riding Cadwell this year. Very Happy
