Hello,

Iv got a Honda CG CDI 2001 model (kickstart only)

The indicators have stopped working, they make a rather odd sound when "triggered" on the switch and either dont come on, or come on at lightening fast speed...

The fella i bought it off said hes pretty sure it needs a new indicator relay, would anyone else say this seems a reasonable suggestion, or is it worth putting up a video??

Cheers

Chris

Could be the relay, and they should be pretty cheap as well.

Best check the battery first though. Measure the volts with light on but engine not running, and also with engine running to medium revs.

I think the normal values are around 12.5V & 14V respectively.

You might also have a problem with other parts of the indicator circuits. Do your problems affect both left & right? And do all the bulbs flash, including the one in the central console?
