Hi all, new here i started riding when i was 15 on a RM85 B/W when i turned 17 i bought a Yz125 and regularly rode on practice tracks, and had a race season under my belt. I then re-located from mid-Wales to Derby and left my YZ at a friends farm for 2 years.

I am now 19 and want to get back into MX, and surprisingly after my YZ was standing for 2 years it just needed a good cleaning of the carb and now it runs like clock work again.

Now i have to questions, before storing my bike i rode it on western beach and then stupidly stored it, before i left the bike the gear leaver has gone "floppy" as in its where first gear should be and just stays there all limp. I tried tighten and loosening the the screw but it wont tighten or come off?

Anyone know what the problem might be?

And my second question are there any good tracks in the east mids?

Google has thrown up a few, but just wanted to know if you know any hidden gems.

Thanks.

Mr.T
