What he probably did is the same as most of us mere mortals, went and saw the builder looked at pictures of bikes and parts and said I like that bit and that style.

He may even like bikes and had a bit of an idea of how he wanted it to look. Even if that was just saying I like the bikes they do on American Chopper.

Seems like its for a good cause so good luck to them.

I wouldn't wish death on anyone, but a fast move into anonymity and near-poverty is acceptable for Wayne Rooney.

It's hideous.

Look at the enormous round head, shrek face, corporate sponsorship T shirt, smug grin and spastic eyes.

He's no more of a designer of bikes than Victoria Beckham is of the Land Rover Evoque.

Depends how you define "designed"

A:- Did he do the technical and engineering stuff then no probably not.

B:- Did he sketch a picture and pick out bits and pieces for the bike, wheels ect, decide on an engine, which bits to chrome..I
want fat rubber ect ect....then yes he did.

If you don't like the fella then you'll slate it. If you like him or like me just think fair do's then you won't slate him.

Wayne Comes in looks and pictures says what he likes and some other guys do it. It's still part of the design process. As far Choppers go, this one looks alright. By the looks of it the guy has donated some time (which to someone on hundreds of thousands a week is worth a lot!) to a project that is selling a bike for charity.

I can't really see what the issue is other than again people being jealous of footballers doing well because they 'only kick a ball around.'

If you don't like the bike fine, but don't slag the guy off for essentially helping out a charity.

I am sure when he scores a hatrick in the final, (including a maradonna-esque solo effort, taking on the whole German team and nutmegging the keeper) some peoples opinion will be different.

(unless your one of those ghey odd men that don't like football)

I don't think it will, people hate the fact he is paid an obscene amount of money and that transfers into hating him.

He's an ugly stupid chav who sleeps with old prossies. He has no valuable opinion or intelligence, and yet he gets paid more in a week than I do in a year.

He's never going to be my favourite man.

It's not "too" bad from the side. Something I could ride but nothing I would ever buy. I'd much rather buy a sports or dirt bike.

It's just when you look at the custom decals on there. They're horrible Puke
It would have been a much, much better bike if it had been left gloss black.

I agree with MarJay too.

I dislike Rooney intensely, but all he has done here is lend his name and profile to a charity, which he probably believes does good work.

Well, I finally got an answer back :-

Quote:
Hi Shaggy

The Lauge Jensen Motorcycle can go around 475 km on a full tank. The tank can contain about 5 gallons.

Best Regards
KidsAid / Lauge Jensen Motorcycles

So 60mpg, not bad for a 300kg 155mph bike with 100 powers.

Can you do what he does on a football field? No? Didn't think so. Do people pay £100's to watch you work? No? Didn't think so?

It is sheer jealously that he earns more than you, let it go.

Some of us don't give a damn what he does on a football field. Football has turned into a rich man's club where the players couldn't give a toss whether they win or not. It's less of a ball game and more of a media-hogging card game where rich, unskilled oligarchs swap players for ridiculous sums of money.

They're overpaid, and that's not from a point of jealousy; money isn't everything.

In regards to the bike, lose the decals and it isn't half bad, but he didn't "design" it; he just chose the colour scheme.

What I do has infinitely more value to the world economy than a bloke kicking a leather bladder around a field.
