Can anyone recomend a good cheap tyre for my brothers 125cc learner bike?

I dont think Im being a tight git becuase I can find cheaper 180/55ZR17 tyres's for my cbr6!

Sure its a tubeless but my old cg125, chinese tyres were £36, with micellin ME45's £50, not that I ever found somewhere to stock them...

Cheapest tyre of that size I could find with a quick search was this at £41 delivered.

No doubt someone else can probably find a cheaper and better one.

This is all I can find with a quick search.

The site I've just bought a pair from has none in that size for under £100 Shocked

this is confusing shit!

CBR600, radial tyres, feels awesome.

my first bike, CG125, had horrible spoked wheels = tube, bias tires, that felt squidgy and unsafe, compared to proper bike tires.

This bike has alloy wheels, but looks like bias tyres. Feels like my CG125, bit disapointed...

Current tyres on it are duro. bike only 2.5 years old, has major sidewall cracking.

Should I spend extra for radials front and rear?

I'd spend a bit more, Avon Road Riders are good value for money, good grip and reasonable life, I use them on my 140 bhp 1100 ex-plod BMW and they work well, nippers got Avon Viper Stryke's on the 125 scooter, not the cheapest, but the handling is much improved, cheap far eastern bike tyres aren't that cheap in reality...
