Hi all
I’m having problems with number 1 carb being that if I do 70mph the pilot tell will block and if I remove the jet and clean it all is ok.

I have a new in line fuel filter and I have cleaned the carb about 5 times now it I take it easy it runs good and smooth but soon as I get on the motorway its back to the start and it blocks.

It’s a GSF 400 30.000 miles

but i cant understand why the pilot jet is blocking am i missing something.

thanks john

its not that thoroughly cleaned or the cleaning technique is wrong.

Your probably doing everything right but not cleaning something else that should be sorted. ie the tank.

And certain fuel filters are shit and still let crap past!

whne was the las time time you did full strip and clean. not just of that catb but of all of them? beside cleaning out the tank and installing the filter this would be the best option
