The sun came out down here for a few minutes in May, but we made it mad by pointing at it in astonishment and disbelief. It flounced off behind a cloud and has not been seen since Crying or Very sad

This is not even a joke. As far as I'm concerned, Summer hasn't even started yet, and already autumn is creeping up on us. Fuckshitbollocks. No, I'm not being sarcastic. You might think so, given what I just said, but I mean this literally. Summer has not yet started. Fuck you British weather this is abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous. I just bloody bet that it's going to be perfect while I'm away. I mean come on!! We've had winter, some more winter...oh, there's some more winter, OK, now here's a bit of sunshine...no, wait, it's raining. OK, this can't last more than a week...two weeks...OK, this rain is getting annoying now. Seriously, stop please. Seriously. Stop please. FUCKING STOP ALREADY Evil or Very Mad

You've had it mate. A hot and sunny week in May, just like usual. Then probably a couple of warm and sunny weeks around September, and that's your lot. Better luck next year.

Every year we have more wet than dry days in June. This isn't new. September is where it's at.

Pffff. I'm only in the country for 2 weeks in september. Hope to get the DAS done while the weather's nice...and then off to some miserable part of Denmark. I swear every time I put on the uniform the weather turns shite.

Is anyone else planning on emigration to somewhere with nicer weather? Australia perhaps?

I gonestly have no idea how some people handle living evefurther north than us

Do you have to say that, I'm still trying to convince myself that the summer is going to be amazing. Can't believe were past the main part of it. I'm still mostly wearing thermals... WTF is this summer? I think my time in the UK is coming to a permanent end. Don't really have to put up with this shitty weather, Canada is looming.

Shucks - another glorious season of lengthening days is past. On the good side the cost of fuel seems to have reduced traffic on the roads, the evil tarmac surface dressers have been kept to a minimum cos they need a few days dry and many an hour spent up to my elbows in grease, which wouldn't have happened if I'd been given the chance to dig out BBQ/spend idyllic hours in the pub garden. Looking forward to increasingly windy, wet weather and ever growing potholes Question Sad
