Un hotwire my bike

My XJ600 was pinched last week, recovered but hot wired.

I've reconnected all the wires that were cut but no joy. Battery is good, what am I missing?

From what I remember of my bike (CB125) being hot wired, it was the red and black that opened up the whole circuit to start the bike.

Maybe go around with a tester to check all your wires and stuff, to see you have them in the right order.

When mine got stolen, I used a normal switch under the passengers seat to turn the bike on and start it. For about 3months the ignition did nothing but puzzle the little bastards who came to steal my bike.

Was even funnier with the ex's moped, I removed the CDI each night and left my dogs behind a very unsecure door that they could smash through when hearing them come.

I pissed myself one morning to see a chav in the wheelie bin full of rubbish, next to the gf's moped, crying for that he would wait for the police if I took my dog away. Apparrently he had been sat in the bin full of used nappies and general other nastiness for 4hrs because my dog was jumping up everytime he opened the lid.
Little did he know she only wanted to lick his face off and have a fuss lol.
The pup was occupied elsewhere which is a good thing because he would have been in the bin with him, and mauled him until he got the fuss he wanted.
