I thought CIA were good but not so much any more really.

My R6 is up for renewall, it cost me £1165 last year + finance which made it just over £1300 I think.

Renewall with 1 years NCB and no convictions or anything, they want £1160!

WTF

I've told them thanks, but no thanks, I said I'd call around and I told them I will get it cheaper and will give them a call back to see if they'll beat my cheaper quote.

They reckon £1160 is cheapest they can offer but they're talking bollocks.

Going to try a few places first

I can thoroughtly recommend dainesfreak's recommendation www.insurance2000.co.uk. I got a Suzuki GSX600f (ok not the fastest 600 I know), TPFT, just got my licence, nom NCB and I'm 22...£275! That is by far the cheapest quote I got!

I've tried then and they wanted more than that on my rs125 @21 with 3 years NCB.

£298 @21 on a rs125 with 3 years ncb.

AXA were the cheapest for me by lots, rest of the places wanted at least 500 more. You have to go through a broker to get an axa quote. It was through motorcycle direct. I'm far from 18 but never know, worth a go
