I’m sure that would have helped if you’d only been six years quicker.

I have a keeway txm 125cc sits at 92mph nicely, Although its more like 85mph still decent speed for 4stroks 125cc.
Upjet carb straight threw airfilter retune carb properly as they mixed rich anyway, get rid of the cat. add bigger down pipe bigbore exhaust & sprocket change & maybe ecu remapping cost you £100 max eBay if want to push the boat out upgrade clutch plates & springs & do it yourself.
Don't go to big on down pipe, you will loose power not gain.
£24 for 4L oil isnt good oil at all lol go something decent castrol racing power 1 £14 1L if bikes upgraded & fast flow oil filter as everything will be moving faster due to upgrades ect. Don't tan the crap out of it look after it & you won't have a problem.
Mates done a CBR R 125 & his the same. Obviously after 65mph on a provisional you are braking the law so don't be stupid is my advise just some info on power gains without spending stupid money ect

No substitute for passing ones test and buying a grown ups bike. Many big boy bikes do 85+ in first gear without
any of that daft bollocks done to them. My unmodified 125 scoot isn't much slower than your daft chinese learner
bike either, but I guarantee when you've ruined the engine of yours, mine will still be running, legal and passing MOTs
for many years to come. Bangs on about "decent" oil. But buys chinese pos bike with optimistic speedo. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Given OP's query was so many years ago and concluded with him planning to get a full licence and an SV650, it's liukely he's rather not a newby any-more!

It IS! Shocked In fact that's a good 5mph more than the most powerful, non Learner-Compliant standard production 4 stroke 125 motorcycle ever managed! A-N-D yours does it with super-retard wide-bar aero-un-dynamics, tapping tappets and a slapping piston!

I-M-P-R-E-S-S-I-V-E!

It's incredible... or incredulous... maybe both

I can't believe you spent 6 years typing your reply and still spelt "too" and "lose" wrong.

Also ... get your speedo fixed. It's clearly fucked.

What a deluded tool! No air filter eh? That's good for the next owner after you isn't it, if the bike makes it that far?

You'd struggle to make say a CR 125 top a true 92mph if you could find the sprockets to do it. A CBR and especially one with your modifications can't even dream of 92mph. They've never topped 72mph on the runway, so another 20mph well I doubt even Tony Scott could have found that!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
