Hi all, i could really do with some help!

I've got a 2008 CPI GTR 50 and since yesterday (When the bike got EXTREMELY wet) my temperature light is stuck on after I've been holding the throttle on for about 20-30 seconds.

It's fine when its idling but as soon as the throttle is open shortly after the light comes up on the digital display.

Could really do with some help/troubleshooting

I also forgot to mention that there is a hell of alot of white smoking coming out the back when i accelerate
