I've noticed a handful of bikes up my way have had a red/amberish front light. It looks pretty striking and very noticeable - are they legal? They're a bit light the froggy Citroen's yellow hue from eons ago but red.

Red light anywhere but at the rear - strictly illegal and potentially very dangerous. Unless on a boat.

Thought so. It was very unmistakably reddish (maybe even with a touch of pink) but it would be easy to differentiate from the rear lights as it was quite a piercing intense light. Looked pretty nice but I certainly wouldn't risk having them. Anyone else seen them?
