Well I did my CBT back on the 11th, which to the dismay of my wife i thoroughly enjoyed (even though I struggled Putting a weedy 125 on the center stand)

The theory test was next. I decided to get this done before thinking about anything else because hazard perception was the one thing worrying me the most. I did it this evening.

Not to worry, I got 49 for multi choice and 65 for the dreaded hazard perception. The learning CD was worth the fiver it cost me off eBay, it really is all about technique. Pissed myself laughing at one of the clips when some Chav nearly got knocked out off an opening van door.

Next for me is a crossover session (125 to 500) and see how well I get with that. Put the CBT and theory to the back of my mind and start on the mod 1 fun.

I'm glad I'm taking my time with all this. How people do this in 3 days I don't know. Razz

ahh the centre stand Razz
Had the same trouble on my CBT so made it the first thing I practised when I got my bike.
Basically, get the stand down so both feet are touching the floor.
Then with ALL your weight (ALL YOUR WEIGHT) Step down on the stand as if it was a step, while lifting the bike from one of the rear grab bars.
I'm sure your ment to have a hand cover the brake aswell, but find that uncomfortable.
Really easy to do, its all technique Thumbs Up

Moving on to a 500 should be n bother gent, I did an assessment a few weeks back & found the 500 to be better/easier to ride......In fact riding my 125 home highlighted just how sluggy, rough and dull it is to ride.
Calling my local school tomorrow to book my Mod 1 training, hoping to get started within the next week or so.

Good luck with yours! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
