......I am still grinning like an idiot. Had a a great day and the road session had to be the highlight. Took bit of time to get used to the clutch/gears but the road bit was amazing. It started to rain when got the radios linked up but then next thing the sun came out and life was very good!
I think I have the bug!
And to be honest want say thanks to you guys on here. I have wanted to get into biking for ages but never really took the step towards it. That and the hassle of doin cbt, theory and then a further 2 tests put me off. But after looking on here and at the advice and support you give new riders i thought i should at least see what its like.
Im 32 so gonna get a 125 to commute back and to with and build some experience up then either go for resticted licence (b4 jan) or just go for DAS and sell whatever 125 I have to another newbie like me.
Thanks alot guys ____________________ Its like driving a car, only with half the wheels and 10 times the fun |

I did my CBT a few months ago and never looked back! Looking at a DAS in september now, booking it tomorrow after I had a chat with them about availability.
But I've never looked back. I bought a 125 a few days after my CBT and it's been great! Welcome to a whole new world! Quality of life improves tenfold when you own a motorbike, IMO.
I just have to work up the nerve to finally tell my parents "by the way, I bought a motorbike!" when they are very anti-bike, and I already own a car...the joys of being at that stage between adolescence and adulthood
But that's my problem. Well done and welcome! |
