Quite disappointing, i was so confident!

I got 0 minors and 1 major.

Major was for being in the wrong lane on a round about, completely my fault and obviously deserved to be failed because of it.

Just a bit disheartening that aside from that everything was spot on.

re-booked for the next available spot, which happens to be 3 weeks away. 20th July.

Hopefully i wont make the same mistake again!

Unlucky fella.

Being in the wrong lane on a round-a-bout and getting a major because of it is a bit harsh imo. Confused

Better luck next time. Thumbs Up

Unlucky buddy.

Just a note, if you ever find yourself in the wrong lane on a test, it's better to follow that lane and go the wrong way than try and switch lanes to go "the right way".

The examiner can't fail you for going the wrong way unless going the wrong way is dangerous (i.e. the wrong way down a 1 way street).

20th July isn't too far away; good luck! Smile

Aw, shame. You'll smash it next time.

Doing it on your own bike? I'd be amazed if you can't get a cancellation slot before then.

Nope, im using a schools bike. Means that these attempts are £145 a go. Maybe if i found an earlier slot, they'd be up for letting me use it on that day instead. If not, it just means i get a little more time to practice that round about lol.

this is the round about: He wanted me to take the third exit, down trumacar lane. I just took it too wide like i was going to exit at the 1st/2nd exit rather than hugging the middle. Doh.

Thumbs Up Well, you know your mistake, so I hope you learn from it, round abouts are tricky at the best of times, on approach try and stay relaxed, talk to your self on whats required, " third exit, ok will need to get into the middle or far right lane ( depending on roundabout ), can I walk across it before that next vehicle?, I can, so off we go, I can't, will wait, have to wait till it passes, check my indicators, fine, change indication for exit, fine, CANCEL indicators on exit, fine, ( double click to make sure ) " watch out for cork screw round abouts, there a ?????? nightmare, just pay attention, as said if you find your self in the wrong lane carry on, the examiner will re adjust your route, don't worry about it though, finally, good luck next time round Thumbs Up

Yep agree this is what I did and only picked up a minor. It was right at the end of the test and I was gutted as he was well pissed at me over the radio. But i took my time and went right round and re joined him, keeping all my checks in place.
