Well tomorrow is the big day, Module 1 at Peterborough test centre. I'm having to hide the oil leak with tissue under some duct tape. Wish me luck o_O

When did the leak start?

Good luck, matey!

I've stuffed tissue paper behind the sprocket cover to stem the leak, hopefully it will hold out for a day, then remove it! Just hope it won't come lose and get on my chain Laughing

Well, I failed it Sad

Stupid really, I didn't stop in time during the emergency stop so he ended it early, recorded as a serious fault.

Nevermind! Rebooked!

Yep, never mind. I didn't get the chance to practice the swerve on my first Mod 1 either because I didn't stop quick enough. I buggered the U-turn up as well, but everything fell in to place for my second one Thumbs Up
Treat it as a practice run, that's exactly what it was.

Why not? Test centre tarmac's the stickiest stuff there is, MTFU and bury the front tyre in it. It's an easy e-stop, straight line, bike bolt upright and only 50kph.

This is the EN with the shagged front brake?

Had another look at the sheet - Got 1 minor for the U turn as I was wobbly.

The second minor was the speed trap - 49 km/h Evil or Very Mad

I don't know why I didn't stop, I just kept taking my foot off the rear brake and reapplying it as it was wet, just a habbit I have.

The front brake hardly has any stopping power, which is concerning as most of the braking should be done with the front....I think a rebleed is needed before the next test Rolling Eyes

Front brake is massively important.
I had the same issue with my CG when I failed Mod 1 a year or two back.
First time I overshot the area.
Second time I locked the rear wheel.

So you're in good company.
On the road I used to leave ridiculous following distances. 6 seconds in the dry. Very Happy
