Can anyone identify what these hooks under the BROS seat are for? I'm just curious as to what they are there for!

You can see them folded out on one of the attached pics, they are near the top of the picture. Also enclosed is a picture of wear the seat goes.

At a guess, either to secure luggage (panniers) or to fasten your helmet(s) to?

Nah - they fold in, the seat wouldn't go on properly with them folded out like in the picture. When folded in they lie flush with the bottom of the seat - can't see the point in them!

Try again. Smile

Hi

They look ligh bungee hooks. My guess would be that the seat has been recovered and ptherwise there would be small but outs to allow them to fold out. Either that or it is the seat from a different model.

All the best

Keith

Yes - they fold out and work fine, as you say I would expect to see some little groves or something where they should sit when folded out. I expect the seat cover has been replaced at some point.

They still work fine anyway, they just push on the fabric!

I had a look at yer pic you posted earlier Carv, and I had an inkling that they might be there to hold a toolkit in that recess in the bottom of the seat.

Otherwise they be Bungee hooks! Aharr!

The Blade has them as well, but you don't get cutouts for them to rest in when folded out, it just pinches the seat cover in, and yes they're the bungee hooks.

I use the indicators too sometimes, because the fold out pegs aren't really far enough back and the subframes all enclosed.
