Good afternoon ladies and gentleman,

After a lot of deliberation i have decided to break my CBR600RR 2003. The reason why i hear you ask; i am slightly new at the old track day thing and I was unawares there was water in the coolant system and, yep you guessed it, it froze when we had that really really really cold spell over winter and cracked the crankcase. I do not have the expertise to take the engine apart and replace the cases and this is expensive to get someone else to do and buying a new engine seems a waste. I know its a dumb thing to have done and ignorance is no excuse, and trust me i will not be doing it again, but it is a good excuse to sell the parts and get a new bike.

The items for sale are:

Blueprinted Engine - From discussions I have had with a Honda mechanic he says that as the crankcase cracked the likelihood is that the internals of the engine will be fine. He said something to the tune of as the water reservoir is at the very bottom of the engine within the crankcase no water should have been within the internals and as it cracked the case all the pressure was released at that point. Selling as spares or repair. Offers

Main frame - with numbers all intact never been registered. Offers
Sub Frame - Offers
Standard ECU - Offers
Full titanium arrow exhaust system - Offers
Translogic qs2 with gp sensor, intellishift complete with rod - £240
PC3 - £160
Ohlins Steering damper with harris bracket - £220
Renthal 48mm Clipons - £50
Standard Bars - £25
Front Forks - Maxton internals recently serviced @ Steve Jordan incl change of bushes - £400
Harris fully adjustable rearsets - £125
Yokes - with new bearings £60
2nr sets of standard brakes one with braided lines the other with standard
Fuel Tank - £25
Standard levers (x2) - £15 each
Chain&sprockets - a variety of different sprockets - £40
Bike Tek quick release fuel cap
4nr NGK iridium spark plus (new - i put in just before bike broke and have never used)
K&N Air filter (new - as above)
Standard Air filter
Also have ohlins rear shock

I may have missed a few things but as I said I have the complete bike for sale. I am also not a bike dealer so some of the prices about maybe well out and I am open to sensible offers. Also none of the items include postage as I would prefer if they were collected or alternatively I could deliver in the bed/bucks/herts area and maybe in the northants area. I live in Towcester for reference. If you need pics I will email over.

James
