After much fretting over where my counterpart was, finally found it so all was fine for the arrival of my courtesy bike.

(Hell if I'm getting buses for some idiot's mistake!)

Rides pretty damn smooth, throttle response is great, ABS, and barely got 600 miles on it! Smile

What's your excess on that? When I got a nearly new SV650s as a courtesy bike I had £600 to pay if I dropped it - quite took the shine off it for me Sick

Just curious, why should you not put a disc lock on the ABS disc side?

Wow, Suzuki have actually made the Bandit look quite nice these days. The mid 2000's Bandit S was the ugliest thing you've ever seen.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

£500, just means you're not going to rag it I guess. It's just transport and a bit of fun for me really Smile

Fair. Enjoy it - I managed to overcome my fear of the excess and give the SV a proper test out in Derbyshire (just once) Very Happy But round town I was the most timid you have ever seen Laughing

Is that the 650? Lovely bike, did half my DAS on one. ABS is amazing i think. Then moved up to the 1250, which is awesome at pretty much everything IMO. Easy round town, and scared the shit out of me on faster roads. Would have one if it didn't make me look like an old man Embarassed

Hire bikes...... aint they them bikes that are full of magic stuff?

They dont need to be warmed up before red lining it.
The tyres are immune to wear from burnouts
The fork seals are indistructable and can handle wheelies like a mofo boss.

That's the standard magic hire cars are made of, so Im guessing bikes are the same.

You know what they say, ride it like you hired it.
