Passed MOD1 this morning. WOOP!
Lovely sunny dry day, hardly any wind Sun
1 minor for doing 45 on the first swerve run, 2nd was 52. I thought 45 was a fail actually, must be the very bottom end of the 'retry' scale?

Anyhoo, I'm happy, was stressed as anything this morning! MOD2 should be easier as the only things I was worried about on MOD1 were figure 8 and U-turn, once I'm riding I think I'm pretty good.

Thumbs Up Very Happy Thumbs Up

Check threads about module2 tips, would be awful to fail on something trivial like not cancelling an indicator or being a bit too close to the car in front.

Cheers guys.
MOD2 training next Tuesday, then test Wednesday morning. Need to remember to stay off the back of the car in front! I've only ever been told to cancel my indicator twice throughout all CBT, assessments, training etc., so I think I'm alright on that one.

Good luck for yours tomorrow, Hokum. What time? Early morning worked well for me. Should be more good weather and not much wind (apart from on the toilet in the morning of course Very Happy ).

Just take your time, focus on where you want the bike to go. When I did the U turn I literally locked my eyes on one single tiny pebble that was where I wanted to end up.

Treat each manoeuvre as a separate test, deep breath before you start, remember its NOT a race, blot out the rest of the world and do the job.

After each manoeuvre forget it ever happened, under no circumstances fret about whether you've buggered it up, just get on with the next one.

I found counting "one thousand, two thousand" was leaving me too close... Confused

So I started counting "one cabbage, two cabbage" in a stereotypical thick country yokel accent. Laughing

Passed MOD2!! WOOHOO!!

2 minors, indicators weren't cancelled quickly enough before pulling away from the kerb, and didn't indicate right to go straight on Confused .

Time to sell the Sanya, pay off my credit card and then look at getting something like a CB500 cheap.

Yeehaw. Ignore the minors, that's just a clipboard drongo flexing his teeny bit of authority.

Shouldn't be a problem to shift any reasonably priced 125 at the moment. Very Happy
