It appears that Gordon Ramsay has been poaching ideas for TV programmes directly from my hero, Alan Partridge.
Does that mean we'll finally get to see the fruition of such fine TV concepts as 'Arm Wrestling, with Chas and Dave', 'Inner City Sumo', 'Youth Hostelling, with Chris Eubank', and perhaps even...........Monkey Tennis*!?!
*Apparently this was a hit in both Taiwan and Laos, ultimately though the monkeys were 'quickly and humanely destroyed' once the programme had reached the end of its natural life (much like some of the monkeys). This, I (sadly)cannot confirm though.
I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I did find Ramsay's programme quite touching at times.
