I know that the CG is notorious for this, but I ride home in the dark at about 11pm two nights a week down country lanes, so I need to sort it.

Unfortunately my fittings are for a bayonet bulb, like a mini household lightbulb, and my local parts shop doesn't stock them but are on the case for a halogen for me.

BUT, my headlamp front casing fell off and got run over in the road today, so I now need to replace it. I've found them on Ebay, are they easy to fit? I have no mechanical knowledge at all, so it needs to be idiot proof!

it should be easy enough, theres usually a screw or two holding the front of the lamp on.

look in the workshop thread for the CG manuals

Hi mate, just was passing through your topic. I just replace my headlight with a brand new one for my sukida sk 125 - 2. It s a Honda CG copy, Just wonder if it uses the rectangle headlight, if so, I have some spare casing all except the headlight glass left from my original one. It is 7' x 5". Let me know, and I ll give u further advice.
