hi ive found me a nice color for respraying my bike, but im a bit confused on the matter, its a neon matte blue , looks a bit like the rizla blue. any u guys got any advice on whether adding lacquer to a matte paint will make it a glossy effect? and make it shine? any1 else done anything like this before, im thinkin it should be ok as with standard procedure painting is basecoat then lacquer and most basecoat finishes i have seen look matte? until lacquerd?

heres the color = https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330759350143&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123#ht_1178wt_1270

Hello merky.
You should be alright as long as you use the same type of lacquer as the paint. If your spraying your tank, you will need a petrol proof lacquer. Halfords do one.
You don't say how much of your bike your spraying, but you've only got 675 ml of paint, which won't go too far.

The thing is, as soon as you polish lacquer it will likely give you a shine in my experience.
