One of the lamest excuses for not making that all important phone call or taking one. I deal with people on the phone all the time and I am amazed at how may phones are broken when i try to contact them or vice versa.

i am going out on a limb here and suggesting that you ignored calls so they made the decision on the basis you werent interested enough to discuss it with them.

I have only ever had one phone break when it fell out my pocket and got run over by a car, the sim card was fine though.

Id certainly not accept anything without finding out what they are up to, i can not speak from experience as I have only ever made one claim in 25 years and I didn,t actually do anything, coppers sorted it all for me, one of them who was called out to my other halfs accident knew us through a mate, hes a biker and offered to leave me to concentrate being at the hospital with my other half while he dealt with everything for me.

I had 2 hire cars once...

They had tried to get hold of me at my old work (bad signal, always stating emergency calls only etc)

They were terminating my hire car cover as I had not responded to the call that gave me a full price offer for damage to my car.

Whoops Laughing

Got rid of hire car, picked up my car and got massive cheque in post. Laughing

Moral of story. Buy new bike fast or just ride it as is.
