Hey guys,

Does anyone know of a waterproof oversuit ('onesie') Wink that packs away small enough to stuff under the seat of something like an sv650? or cbr400?

I want one so I can pretty much wear my kevlar jeans and leather jacket all year round with the rainsuit under the seat so I know it's there if it starts pissing down.

Thanks.

I have a Hein Gericke one (probably not current stock/colours) and I find that packs quite small when I can be bothered. I find a small stuff sack or elastic bands (the sort post people drop on the floor) works to keep it under control.

Problem I find is when riding is predicting how bad the upcoming downpour will be and being able to stop to put the thing on. Doing a strange dance by the side of a busy road as your boot catches in the material is an interesting past-time. Generally now just put it on before journey start and suffer the slight damp on the inside at journey end (not Goretex breathable so get some condensation).

I bought a HG rain suit in the jubilee sale, £16 I think. Seems to do the job, worn it a few dozen times now. It fits under the seat of my cbr125, and there is other stuff in there, too.

I have a Swift one peice over suit that although wouldn't pack small enough to fit under a cbr4 seat, it does pack into its own 'bum bag' type thing (when i can be bothered...), complete with clipped belt. Whether you can still get them, or where I dont know though, I bought mine many years ago on a whim while passing a random bike shop in Birmingham.

If you can find one though I do reccommend them, they zip all the way down to the top of your left thigh, making them very easy to get in a out of

Thumbs Up
