Going to be breaking my zx7r over the summer and was just curious what are the most common parts that are hard to sell? obviously it depends on what people are buying at the time but is there anything that is just impossible to shift?

i have broken about 12 bikes now and theres never a particular part thats hard to sell for all bikes it will vary, mopeds act you get tons of texts say' ave u still gt da panels cos mine r smashed init'

GSX750 though i found everyone who came too collect or purchased bits was much more reasonable, plus all the bits you don't sell put them on ebay at 99p...

i call these people 99p'ers everyday 100's of people search ebay for just '99p' and buy stuff they don't even know what is just because its 99p plus it brings in a lot more interest for other parts. good luck Thumbs Up

Swingarm, rear pegs, rear caliper bracket, rear subframe and light, emmisions gubbins, yokes and rear shock (unless it's a clean low mileage one), switchgear and possibly the airbox will all be slow/non sellers on a 7r.

I was very tempted to bid on yours on eBay, but couldn't be arsed to travel that far to fetch it and bought one closer to home.

Has yours got stainless downpipes? I know yours has that underseat exhaust, are the headers the same as standard or were they modified?

I'd be interested if they're stainless, and I could also do with a double bubble tinted screen?

I've broken a 7R before on ebay, it was a trackbike with plenty of trick bits (Full Ti Akra, Ohlins etc etc) and managed to pull back just under £1500 IIRC.
