I have started to convert my old dt into a supermoto so i thought id share a few pics.
Firstly this will be a mega low budget job so no fancy excel rims.
Wheel choice was made by spending a few hours looking at a bike wheel bearing fitment guide working out what wheels would fit the spindles as easily and cheaply as possible.
In the end i went for aprilia rs125 wheels, i have bought the rear wheel first as it was always going to be the hardest to get to fit due to needing disc and sprocket lining up.
The trial fit went very well as the dt caliper fitted with no mods.

Then came the next problem as the sprockets were a different pitch
easily cured with a yz125 front sprocket.

Then i was shocked both the disc and sprocket lined up with no mods.

I just need to make some spacers and the rear wheel is done.
Now all i need is a front wheel Very Happy
Thanks for reading.

Ah I love this kind of stuff! I used to have an old DT125LC and always wanted a supermoto but figured it'd be way too much effort to get spacers machined and bearings measured/sourced etc etc as I'm not the best when it comes to precise measurements!!

You've been very lucky that you've not had to mod anything to get this far, the front wheel should be much simpler as it is.
