Rally driver, known mainly for his stunting videos and driving like a maniac, he was on Top Gear once.

Can't believe the guy blagged a go in an F1 car. It's a bit like Jayne Torville having a crack at an Olympic speed skating final.

Covdude? Why do you neg perfectly fine and correct posts just because you're too ignorant to understand the content?

It was enough for anyone who has an interest in motorsports. Don't blame others for your lack of knowledge - His previous vids have racked up close to 200,000,000 views!

Anyway, on topic. Quite disappointing, his previous vids seemed to push the envelope a bit more. this seemed more like a day in the office just to get paid.

As an advert it's good - I'd consider a fiesta if it could do 0-60 in 1.8s and bounce off the limiter that easily Smile

Some cool jumps but some quite same old same old tricks.

Cool sounding car as all WRC type spec cars are, but does look as if they've thrown up over it with all the sponsors.

Aye the drift/jump bit was the best. I think he broke a lot of things, I saw a GoPro go flying at one point.

One thing that puzzles me, is how they could get permission to seal off streets in a built up area like that and have no one watching.

The only thing I could think of, was that each bit was done separately, and then edited together and it was all done at the crack of dawn before most people were up.

I don't think it is a WRC spec car. Its got 4 wheel drive and 650bhp. Its more like a Group B Rally car from the '80's

Its basically a huge advert for DC shoes, Monster and Ford. Thats how he makes his money. I don't even know if he's ever won a rally, but he is without a doubt talented. I love the sideways jump at 5:40 too.

Shame he's called Ken. His mate Travis Pastrana has a much cooler name.

Must have been. There are a few shots where you'd be able to see the other cameras if they were there for that take, and the tyre marks on the street dont match.

Fairly sure that exhaust isn't typical, might be something they had to do to get past the emissions crap in California.

People who don't love motorsports know Ken Block, so I'm surprised you haven't heard of him.

That's besides the point though, no need for -ve Karma just because you've never heard of him

American cities are fairly open to filming. Sony did a really good looking commercial years ago where they dropped bouncing balls down the street in San Fran - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_bx8bnCoiU it was all genuine - no cg!

I was in Chicago when they were filming batman or spiderman or summat - got in my way when I wanted to go sightseeing!

But yeah, they definitely edit bits together. You can see that from the varying number of tyre marks at each obstacle.

Thumbs Up Cov - you were almost becoming tolerable for a while. Why spoil it by going on a karma rampage? You'll just get people's backs up. You're acting like a jumped up busy body handing out -ve just because you don't agree / like what people put.

Try just calming down and just have a discussion with people rather than trying to control them.

I'm not sure I'd class him as a rally driver...

Has he actually finished one yet?

Crap WRC driver, but good at making cool looking vids.

Would be amazing if it was done in one shot, like its made to look like, if you ignore the tyre marks, wheels changing colour/damage.
