Hi

You can do the top end of the engine without removing the engine from the frame.

To remove the engine from the frame you need to remove the exhaust, carb, drain the coolant and remove the radiator. Disconnect the pipe from the oil pump to the carb, and from the 2 stroke oil reservior to the engine. Disconnect the ignition wiring, the temp sensor wiring, the starter motor wiring and the cable to the oil pump. Undo the 3 bolts holding the engine in place, then hold the engine while you push the bolts out. Place engine on floor!

To be honest it is a very easy bike to remove the engine from.

All the best

Keith
