Managed to find a micron exhaust for kawk, will I need to adjust the timing and jetting.

Its at garage at moment and they had it hanging on wall Laughing didn't know if timing will need to be changed as being points.

Think it's running rich at moment so hoping it won't need much adjusting

Only the fuelling might need changing nowt else

you might not need to do anything, usually with microns you need a bigger main jet, but if its running rich now you should be all right.

There used to be kits you could buy to optimize the fuelling with microns (ledar kits ??).

One tip is do not overgear the bike, if anything lower the gearing as microns thrive on revs

well the black bit at end of exhaust which held baffle tube on which was cut on blow off other day kick starting it Shocked and is pretty loud at moment might leave the can as is only getting to 60 at moment but think rings are shagged.

am happy with it as is bit of a hooligan bike Very Happy

shall do annoys the the people living near by, my tick over just gone up by 500rpm on tick over by it self, currently sitting at 2,500 is that alright.

turn it down on the idle screw, but straight away its running leaner already on the pilot circuit

the jet clip has been moved down one to make it richer, just cant under stand why its gone up on its own just sat outside of work Confused

Checked the plug and a nice biscuity brown so guess when I moved the jet it helped, only thing holding it back is a rattly piston would benefit a lot from rebore and new piston

possibly, when we stripped engine we found the rings to be slightly shagged and honed barrel made it rattle abit more.

took plug out a nice biscuity brown so is running alright with current setup
