hi dont know if some of you can remember binges tzr pit bike, well after seeing that on another forum i decided to build one for myself. It nearly finished now but cold weather has haulted it for now. I know this is a proper bike forum but thought some people might like it.

heres some pics

https://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa288/waynenoonan1234/DSCF3867.jpg

all parts have been made by myself. its running at 130cc had a rebore and a replate, new piston kit, race reeds, custom inlet manifold, mikuni TM28, mod'd YZ125 exhaust, PV pinned fully open. Its staying as a offroad bike so should be fun to ride. comment welcome

Good project. Although how are you planning on fitting pegs? With mine i fitted a cat5 cradle, but that bent to shit once i stood up on it. Laughing Eventually I welded a joiner bar between the braces and welded it up with thicker metal...

The peg bar cradle it already on and pegs are now fitted it been welded and bolted on i have my full weight on it bouncing and no movement. Also to the comment to about the chain slack lol it was 5 links too short so have now extended it so fits perfect with enough for adjustment. will update after this weekend.

It's on a 12/14 setup, although I think he's put it on 12/12 supermoto wheels now.

Regardless of rear wheel size (10 or 12), it'll pick the front up effortlessly.
Mine was on 12/12 SM setup, with quite tall gearing, capable of over 90mph when it was road legal. Once tracked, geared it down, but it'd still hit 70mph with ease.

Bit of inspiration for you Wayne;

Track trim - Rad up on forks, short gearing, lowered

Road setup - Sidemount rad

On track, exiting last corner at Stretton Karting, struggeling like a Mofo to keep the front down, while out-pacing tuned 160s at the same time. Crazy fecking thing it was!

And if you are thinking of going road legal, this is mine on the road. Gaz is on the other bike, which at the time, had a tuned YX140 stuffed up it which ran GOOD power. VM26 carb, powerpipe etc. Near the end you'll see the TZR pit outpace it with ease. Wasnt even close.

Keep us updated Wayne, I wanna see some test runs on it when it's done. It sits a little high for my liking, but I'm a supermoto fan!

Ben

u running the flat slide carb on that off the dtr? ive got a box of carbs jetting an accessorys that came with my tzr if u need anythin just let me know off the top of my head i think the jetting on that carb is 125 but if you put a tzr carb on its a 180 jet with the valve all the way open its a fairly lively power delivery its how my tzr set up, expect to be on the back wheel Twisted Evil

Yeah, Gaz never did his full test.

The way he saw it, was having a tuned 125 on L plates, is just as illegal as having a bigger engine fitted.
So ran a nice reliable 140, rather than a 125 which was strung up to the hills with tuning parts.

It was aimed at Wayne, because he's a scamming cvnt. Ripped about 6 people off on PBC, for about 300quid each.
Then made up some story about his parents being in a car crash.
Maybe true, but that doesn't stop him paying back the 1800quid he owes.
