I'm after buying a set of leathers for the summer however I'm going to customize the jacket by adding a patch to the jacket from a local biker charity; anyone ever done this before, just wondering what type of jacket I am best looking out for
Also what are the best makes of jackets/2piece sets anything that is really the supreme of quality after no flashy colors ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

This is good gear.
I use Hein Gericke and use it all year round all weathers day in day out and get good wear out of it all.
I haven't worn out a jacket yet.
Bursted one a long while ago when I lost my balance for a moment...

You can get some pretty sweet Alpinestars leather jackets for cheap these days - I have one and its survived an off at 40mph. If you're going to add patches, I hope you have a sewing machine, if not, get a shop to do it. ____________________ CBT Passed - 22 / 10 / 11 >> Theory Passed - 16 / 02 / 2012 >> Mod 1 Passed - 07 / 03 / 2012 >> Mod 2 Passed - 18 / 05 / 2012. |

I've got a set of leathers from JTS, cost me £200 (one of the zips was broken on the trousers, normally would be about £270, bargain ) They're comfy, and seem to be good quality no idea how they'd hold up in a crash, but they did alright when I tripped over the recycling bin and ended up on the floor ____________________ Ybr 125 > Bandit 650SA > GSXR 600 > Triumph Sprint St1050 > CB1300 > Z1000SX + FJ1200 (written off) > VFR750 >FJ1200 |
