If fuel pisses out they're too high, if it doesn't get fuel to the engine they're too low Very Happy

Yeah, but does it affect the fuel only when using WOT ?

And how do you actually check the height when the carbs are off the bike ?

Cheers

Hi

No, the float height will affect the fueling on all throttle openings.

You check the float height, normally, with the carbs off the bikeand on there end so that the floats are only just resting on the needle valves (ie, NOT with the carbs upside down). You then measure them, normally from the base of the carb to a point on the floats.

What bike is it?

All the best

Keith

It's my YPVS 350 Yamaha.

So you invert them and then tip the carbs at an angle until the floats swing free from their upside down position....is that right ???

Cheers
