Aha! I recognise the lighting unit on there!
Is that from a Daytona 955i?
It will be nice to see it when it has the Daytona tailpiece too!

Yes sir, that front is a 955 piece. Actually all of the mounting taps are broken off, it was an engineering miracle how I made that thing. Only one bolt holding it on and a few pinch points. The light isnt on there any more as i didnt like how much my bracket(or the glass on the light) weighed. The bike is off the road for some revamping also.
here is another one you might enjoy

What I did with the daytona tail is only used the top thin section of it. Right where it bulged out for the "air scoop" is all cut off. This way I can use the seat and seat cowl but fiberglass the rest to my taste. The ducting just didnt look right. Once finals are over I hope to spend a little more time on the bike but ive got more then a few projects right now:) ____________________ matt

NEVER! hahaha. It wouldnt look right with any fairings ive tried, it looks way better naked. Besides a faired air cooled motor, i wouldnt ride it in the summer
The bike will probobly get a pair of handlebars and a motocross number plate, still toying with the idea. Im gonna make a custom front fender with some small lights in it. Dont know if it will pass inspection though, cross my fingers. ____________________ matt

I certainly don't think the Daytona plastics will fit in their current state, because the top fairing is angled upwards and so the lowers won't meet up with it properly!
Looks good in a kind of weird way! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F

thanks james, dont worry the lights are off. I liked them from the front but from the bike and the side, Ive got a small set of projectors im gonna put on or get a ufo front number. I thought about molding lights into a fender, not sure how that would fly with the inspectors, but its almost vintage so they wont have to worry about it:)
