Got the phone call today, from my Insurance company.
If you stay with us we'll throw in free legal cover up to £100k and a free coutesy bike if you aren't at fault in an accident.
I said right quote away then and I want pillion insurance adding.
I was expecting a huge jump in price, even though this renewal will be 1 years NCB.
They came back with the price 17p per month increase.I snapped their hands of at that.
Here's to another years biking without having to worry about getting anymore quotes.

Its worth noting that most companies will charge you for the cover used during the cooling off period. So get them quotes quickly Thumbs Up

When insurance renewal came in they offered my policy cheaper than the year before.

This was after I had checked online on comparison sites, they turned out to be move expensive, I was very surprised.

Forget legal cover.... Plenty of co's that will assist you should you need it, rather than having your ins co pass it onto a co they are getting a kickback from....
If you are FC. There is no need what so ever for legal cover...

You are paying monthly....

Get a even bigger saving by paying fully upfront.

Pleased I drunkenly posted this last night.
Just done a go compare quote and cheapest insurer is my currant insurer. But! At half the price,I think they'll be getting a rude phone call shortly.
Next cheapest is Bennets buy a £1.Are bennetts any good?as I might chose them over the company i'm currantly with.

I'm just after reading that (car) insurance premiums actually dropped this year, for the first time since Forever Ago. So squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.

They are all pretty much the same...

Remember they are nothing other than brokers looking to make a quick £££.
NOT the actual underwriters.

In my experience the premium quoted on the comparison site and the actual quote from the same company are rarely the same so you need to get actual quotes. Some insurers seem more flexible in their requirements re accessories etc than others. Of course, you never know until the claim stage whether they are going to behave well.
