I just recently brought a 1996 CBR 600FT, and want to know if any body has a good suspension setting for general fast road use. The settings where all over the place but I changed them to honda's specification.

The engine is pretty good except for it hunts on tick over and when your in lower gears doing 10 to 20 mph it is very difficult to pull away without having a sort of flat spot.

Does any body have any ideas the cause of this, I'm pretty handy with the spanners and recently balanced the carbs and serviced the bike.

I find if its too hard it makes the bike too skittish in corners and gives me less feeling and less grip/confidence.
