5,000km charity bike ride

I am an ex Royal Marines Commando who was injured in Afghanistan 2008 where I suffered partial amputation to my left hand.

I am doing a 5,000km motor bike ride around Africa on a BMW 1200GS to raise money for the Royal Marines Association(RMA). The trip is organised by Motoaventures and we will be accompanying actor Charlie Boorman (Long way down & Long way round star).

The ride starts at Victoria Falls in Zambia to Johannesburg in Southern Africa passing through Malawi & Mozambique. The trip Starts on the 10th September and should be complete on the 27th September. It will be very challenging at times but also a once in a lifetime experience.
