Yea thats right, i'm looking for a smallish strap on tank bag, i cant have a magnet one because my tank has a leather cover on it to prevent scratches, so the magnets wont work.
Doesnt need to be huge, just big enough to keep smaller items in.
Any suggestions?

Could always look at the smaller pannier rack bags for bicycles, something like this :-

I did want saddlebags but refuse to pay £50 for the brackets, and then make a plate to move the indicators back. So im kinda limited to either a tank bag or a fork roll bag, but they are generally tiny arent they

Could always make your own luggage supports, they only need to keep the panniers off the shocks. I was lucky in that I found this on ebay for £15 - I only wanted the supports, but now have a spare backrest frame I can turn into a bigger rack :-

Man this thread was a let down from the title.

on a more serious note I have a pair of buffalo getaway soft panniers that go over and under your seat and they work a charm.

Just stick everything in a big bag and strap it to the pillion seat.

I've got the Oxford First one. Had it for a few months now. Not a bad little bag at all.

One trick would be to put magnets inside the cover.

If you want the best cover and bag combination then I suggest invest in a Baglux.

Thumbs Up

Sorry I was confused by the word 'best'. You tend to get what you pay for!

As said maybe stick flexible magnets (like below) inside existing cover. Stick some other material over them to prevent scratching paintwork. Just make sure you get the north/south orientation right so magnetic tank bag sticks to it. Guess you'll have to buy bag first to check.

Just a thought, let us know your solution. Thumbs Up
