Sorted - cheers.

How about V5 - just fill in the new keeper box but without the name and new keeper bit ticked?

I'd just say if questioned that I could have legitimately been reached at either address at any time during that period

I've been moving around student addresses and short term things for years now, always kept everything registered to a parent's house.

All done, cheers.

It says I have to send my old licence back in...

If I didn't and kept it as proof of my licence entitlements for if (when) they mess up - would this be an issue?

Say you lost it and you want to change address at the same time?

They make you pay for that.

Which is rediculous, as the "service" provided is identical and we shouldn't have to pay to protect ourselves from their ineptitude.

my sisters got lost in the post when she posted her license off to change address... so she spent hours on the phone to them. they wanted her to pay for a new license. so she refused, in the end she got one sent out for free, but had to prove her ID and post a copy of her passport / utility bills ETC

I would be somewhat loathe to post any original document to the Department of Various Lost Articles. Rolling Eyes
