Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Some dude on here fitted some Chinese ones to his Street Triple which did not allow the fluid to return back to the master cylinder, and so the pads were always engaged with the discs, and the fluid then boiled locking the brakes up.
However, I have Chinese long adjustable ones on my CBR600RR and they are fine. |
I had the same from some cheap R1 levers I used to use on my TZR race bike. (It had an R1 Blue spot master cylinder and caliper).
What is turned out to be was the little part of the lever which pushed the piston in the master cylinder, was slightly too long, meaning it was slightly applying pressure all the time. As things heat up, it gets worse until the brake seizes on.
I carried on using them as they were cheap, often broken and otherwise OK. All I had to do was file down a couple of mm off until when fitted there was a slight gap between lever and piston. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
