So guys having played on the hornet for the last month or so I have today picked up a triumph speed triple. Not so keen on the long levers and thinking of changing them out. Now what’s the quality of the short ones like on eBay now days? When I had my R6 people were fitting the £30 ones and very happy with them with no issues, is that still the case?

I fitted £30 ebay ones on my stripple. They were absolutely fine. Thumbs Up

I have standard ones, and hate shorties.

Some dude on here fitted some Chinese ones to his Street Triple which did not allow the fluid to return back to the master cylinder, and so the pads were always engaged with the discs, and the fluid then boiled locking the brakes up.

However, I have Chinese long adjustable ones on my CBR600RR and they are fine.

Cheers guys. The only other changes I’m looking at making are bar end mirrors, rear hugger, screen and maybe change the indicators to led ones

I have on older speed triple and fitted handguards (for bar muffs) which necessitated shorter levers. The eBay direct from China levers seem much nicer than the OE levers and I've had zero issues with them.

Used to run Pazzo levers previously, but bought some cheapo knock-offs online for my 750. They do the job for the price. Only downside is you can't order long clutch/short brake combos, but I got used to short/short pretty quick.

I tried a pair of the cheap Chinese shorty levers on my Guzzi. They didn't quite fit. Good enough to get them fitted, not good enough for them to work without harming me. Refund happened eventually, after a lot of moaning from the seller and offers of a partial refund.

If you do get some, make sure that they fit properly and give your levers the full range of movement. Don't expect them to just fit, you need to check carefully.

Thanks for your responses guys, I think I might pay the extra and get ASVs
