HURIKAN Special 250, 1947-1949, Single cylinder 250cc, 4 stroke, OHC, 20bhp.
Only 6 bikes were made by race rider Vladislav Vlk in Czech republic who worked for MOTOR UNION n.p. in Czech Budejovice.
Unfortunately, the factory said, that it's too complicated and it would by too expensive for post-war market. But in comparison with other Czech motorcycles made here back then it was way advanced and its engine had 2 times more power than other production bikes made here.
Some parts look quite British, I don't know if they had something like this back then, but it looks great.
Thanks to this forum, I got interested in history again ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

Doesn't look bad for 1945.
My favourite bit of classic Czech machinery has to be these. Not a bad film either . ____________________ Chris
