Revise DVD's you can get from the school, remember what you've learned and stay calm (passing is difficult when one passes out). Also, as AnPhonEh's said: do your checks.

You'll be fine mate ^^

Mod 1 : Make sure you do your lifesavers before setting off on every obstacle. Remember you can go around the last cone on the figure of 8 IF you need to. Go around the bend in second and try pick up speed as you do, don't wait until you're out of it to try and hit the speed target.

It'll be over as quickly as it started and you'll have no worries, it's very easy in reality.

Mod 2 : Make sure you do all your checks. Read up on the questions they ask you before you ride. Enjoy it and remember the examiner has nothing against you and wants you to pass.

Make sure you have all your documents ready well in advance. Don't worry, if push does come to shove, it's inconvenient, but you can renew your CBT and try as many times as you wish!

Good Luck

They're not hard tests. There was a load of wailing and gnashing of teeth about the new mod 1 when it came in, but it's not hard, and actually got easier last year.

Round the bend in 2nd gear as fast as you can, wide open throttle, don't change gear, don't check your speedo, don't close the throttle until you're through the speed gates, done.

Mod 2 is just a normal ride.

Plenty of ostentatious looking around in both tests, obey the rules of the road, and hope you don't get some twunt of an examiner with a chip on his shoulder because he didn't make it as a traffic Plod.

On that note, we've seen a few examples of examiners who expect you to treat the posted speed limit as a target, so don't hang around. Cautious into junctions, sharpish out.

The pass rate for both tests is mid 60% (for chaps), don't assume you're going to flub it.
