HI .GUYS .
I got these new cush drive rubbers yesterday for my Jinlun 125-11 ,
i"v never change any before but they don"t look right to me ,
only two of them match ,
the other two are completely different and one of them even leans to the left ,
the two that match are about 4/5mm higher than the other two .
have i been sold a load of crap by a main dealer / importer ...
what do you guys think .

Take them back if not happy. Take the old ones with you so you can show him the problem.

Why are you changing them in the first place?

Are they an updated version curing the need to replace future items?

looks like i will have to post them back for a refund and try some were else , i"m in Manchester and place i got them from is in Exeter / Devon .....

This is not ideal but it will work for the MOT. Buy a push bike inner tube and cut it up to pack your duff cush drives to get rid of the free play. It wont last forever but long enough to pass an MOT.

Who cares about an MOT
I'd rather fail an MOT than crash because i've put inner tubes in my wheel instead of cush drives Shocked

They're a bit of rubber, hardly expensive

No component like that will not ever be identical due to materials and manufacture methods. The factory will work to within a given tolerance on parts.
these are Chinese part and are built to Chinese tolerances ...+ or - Do not give a f**k.

Given the way the thing looks ... is it a fully novel design to the company, or is it actually, when you get down to brass tacks, a shameless or poorly-disguised clone of some japanese model? (Or at least, using the same mechanical bits?)

Just wondering if you may be able to get hold of suitable pattern-cut chunks of hard rubber from somewhere less specialist than the importer...
